Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem. Exercise can help by releasing chemicals like endorphins and serotonin that improve your mood. Easier said than done. You are much more likely to exercise if you do it in groups, so phone a friend and go for a walk or join a class. If you exercise regularly, it can reduce stress and anxiety and help with your recovery.
